Professional assignments, relating to gambling

Currently (since 2015) Member of the reference group of a local project for the rehabilitation of young people who wish to recover from excessive computer gaming, financed by the Swedish Inheritance Fund.

Currently (since 2013) Member of the International Editorial Board of the journal International Gambling Studies.

Currently (since 2012) Member of international expert group, the Conceptual Framework of Harmful Gambling Project, coordinated by Gambling Research Exchange Ontario (GREO)..

Currently (since 2007) Member of the international advisory board of the Swedish Longitudinal Gambling Studies (Swelogs), conducted by the Public Health Agency of Sweden. Swelogs includes four epidemiological studies, two in-depth studies, and a number of other studies of gambling and problem gambling.

Examinations

Since 2005 Faculty opponent and member of examination committees for PhD, licentiate degree, and “PhD half-time review”, examining academic theses and texts in Sweden, Denmark and Australia relating to gambling and gaming.
