REGAPS final conference

The research programme Regaps – Responding to and Reducing Gambling Problems Studies – held its wrapping-up conference on November 20-21, in Stockholm. Regaps was a large scale Swedish research programme covering many gambling issues, including the lived experiences of people with gambling problems, measurement and screening instruments, comorbidity between gambling and psychiatric conditions, gambling policy, and international comparisions.

The two day conference had 220 attendants, mainly researchers, policy makers and people working in the health care sector. The presentations covered many of the issues that the five-year research programme had investigated.

I presented my research on the denormalization of gambling in Sweden, 2000-2020. The presentation (in Swedish) is available here: PDFVideo.
